Daniel E. Williams II is a native of Memphis, TN born and raised in the 901 area. Most known for his stellar professional career in the National football league, he is also a business man, philanthropist, follower of Christ, and a family man. During his high school years, Daniel was a 3-star recruit from Memphis East High school who grabbed the attention of many division 1 universities. Ultimately he decided to stay in his home state and play for the University of Tennessee. During his four year college career, Daniel was selected to the All-Sec team and finished his career with 152 tackles and recorded 6 sacks. After a stellar senior season in which he recorded 62 tackles and 2 sacks, Daniel was selected by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2010 NFL draft in the first round with the 26th overall pick. As a starter and key component on the defensive line, his professional career flourished. Still he never turned away from acknowledging and assisting those in need. In fact, after starting his foundation in 2016, he made such an impact that he was nominated for the Walter Payton NFL Man of The Year. Off the field, he was dedicated to making a difference in the community by being active in a variety of causes.
